The order dated 21.09.2016 passed by the Learned Judge of the Family Court, Nashik to the extent it grants maintenance in the sum of Rs.3000/- per month to the son Pritish is taken exception to by way of the above Petition. The challenge in the instant Revision Application is therefore restricted to the said part of the order. The said amount of maintenance has been granted by the Learned Judge of the Family Court by taking into consideration the relevant facts. It has come on record that the Petitioner is a government servant and drawing salary in the sum of Rs.28,933/- per month. The Respondent-husband is working as Gramsevak and his salary appears to be in the region of Rs.30,000/- per month. The Trial Court on the basis that it is the responsibility of both the husband and wife to look after their son Pritish has allowed the BGP.

application filed by the Petitioner to the extent of granting maintenance only to the son Pritish whilst rejecting claim of maintenance made by the Petitioner. In my view, having regard to the fact that both husband and wife are working and therefore the responsibility is on both of them to maintain the son Pritish, the maintenance fixed at Rs.3,000/- per month cannot be taken exception to. No case for exercise of the revisionary jurisdiction of this Court is therefore made out. The Revision Application is accordingly dismissed.
