Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

This petition is filed seeking direction to respondent to register F.I.R. on the basis of complaint filed by petitioner at Kala Chowky police station.

Learned APP, on instructions, from the concerned officer, makes statement that from the allegations of petitioner, offence is committed within the jurisdiction of Azad Maidan Police Station, Mumbai. Except this police station, petitioner has made complaints to the other 1/2

She also submits that if the petitioner approaches Senior Inspector Police, Azad Maidan Police Station, petitioner's statement would be recorded and appropriate preliminary enquiry would be conducted and thereafter action taken would be communicated to the petitioner, within a period of 7 days from the date of receipt of this order. Statement is accepted.
