By an Order dated 15.11.2017 the applicant was granted interim relief and was directed to attend the concerned police station on the stipulated dates and to join the process of investigation. 2.

Perused the record of investigation.

As noted earlier, except administering an alleged threat to the first informant on 22.9.2017 at the behest of principal accused Shashikant Gosavi, no overt act is attributed to the applicant in the present crime. As Aarti Palkar 1/2

22.ABA.1975.17.doc per the record, the investigation of the present crime is already completed and the police have submitted charge-sheet.

After perusing the record and the charge-sheet, this Court is of the view that for further investigation of the present crime the custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary. 5.

In view of the above, the interim relief granted by an Order dated 15.11.2017 is hereby confirmed. However, the condition to attend the concerned police station is waived.
