The petition is filed for quashing the proceedings of the Sessions Case No. 270 of 2014 pending on the file of the Hon'ble Sessions Court by consent. The said case arises out of registration of FIR No.19 of 2014 with the Khar Police Station for offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 3.

We have gone through the FIR. The FIR alleges that the petitioner under the pretext of giving employment to respondent No.2complainant extracted an amount of Rs.10,00,000/- from her and took Shubhada S Kadam 1/2

Sr.No. 38 WP 4566.15 her to Dubai and illegally detained her in the hotel and forced her to have sexual intercourse with several persons between 3rd June, 2013 and 27th June, 2013. We find the offence alleged against the petitioner is serious and heinous one and it is against the society. We therefore refuse to entertain the petition. The petition, accordingly, stands dismissed.

Be that as it may, earlier the petitioner had filed a petition bearing No.2283 of 2014 for quashing the subject FIR. However, the same was withdrawn as the Court was not inclined to entertain the same and, thereafter, the petitioner has filed the instant petition. [V. L.
