The learned counsel for the applicant, Shri. Warunjikar on instructions submits that applicant, pursuant to the order dated 03/01/2019 has attended the Investigating Officer and co-operated. He further assures that applicant will maintain the decorum and the image of the position that she holds as an Advocate and will not conduct herself in future which may give rise to similar type of situation.
2 29.2187.18 aba.doc In the backdrop of aforesaid submission and assurance given, if the contents in the complaint are appreciated, out of matrimonial discord, complainant/husband lodged F.I.R. against his wife and her relations. The status of the applicant is that of lawyer. In the aforesaid background, the case of the prosecution that applicant since also involved in the offence in question which warrants custodial interrogation is required to be disbelieved. As such, the Ad-interim granted vide order dated 03/01/2019 stands confirmed. Applicant to attend Investigating Officer as and when directed. Applicant shall not influence the witnesses or tamper with evidence.
Application stands disposed of.
