The grievance of the petitioner is that in terms of the order passed by this Court on 22.2.2005 in Writ Petition No.4630 of 1998, petitioner had submitted an application before the Collector, Raigad for allotment of land vide application dated 15.5.2013 Exhibit "H". 2.

The said application has been favourably recommended by the Collector and the matter has been referred by the Collector to respondent no. 2, but till date no decision has been taken by the

hvn 930-wp-2923.2017 second respondent in respect of making the allotment of the land to the petitioner.

Having regard to the aforesaid, we dispose of this petition by directing respondent no. 2 to consider and take appropriate decision if not already taken, in regard to the Collector's recommendation for allotment of the land to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible preferably within three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The decision as may be so taken, be immediately communicated to the petitioner.
