The challenge in this petition is to the order dated 21st October 2022, thereby passing no cross order against the petitioner.

Respondent No.2 is present in Court and states that he has no objection for allowing the petitioner to cross-examine the witness. In view of his consent, the impugned order dated 21st October 2022 passed in CC No.8/SS/2018 is quashed and set aside.

The petitioner shall complete cross-examination of the

If the complainant refuses to cross-examine the petitioner on 3rd June on any other date fixed by the Magistrate, the impugned order shall stand revived.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
