By this application, the applicants/petitioners have prayed for leave to amend the writ petition to incorporate the amendments as set out in the schedule of amendment as annexed to the application. The petition is at the pre-admission stage.

Mr. Sangvikar, learned counsel for respondent nos.3 and 4 has opposed the interim application.

Having perused the averments as made in the application, we are of the opinion that it is in the interest of justice that the petitioners are permitted to amend the petition as prayed for. Let the amendment be carried out within two weeks from today. Copy of the amended petition be served on all the advocates.
