Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

By an order dated 25 October 2023, this Court has granted interim protection to the applicants ascribing reasons. 3.

Learned Counsel for the Applicants submits that in terms of the said order, the applicants had appeared before the Investigating Officer and co-operated with the investigation.

While granting interim bail, this Court, inter alia, observed as under : "7.

I have perused the allegations of the FIR. The allegations, prima facie, appear to be of omnibus nature. There is no allegation that the deceased was subjected to harassment in order to coerce her to meet an unlawful demand. The question as to whether the applicants by their act or omission SSP 1/2

8 aba 2989 of 2023.doc instigated or did intentional aid the deceased to commit suicide warrants adjudication at the trial. At this stage, prima facie, there does not seem to be a direct or proximate act on the part of the applicants which can be construed as an instigation or intentional aid to commit suicide. I am, therefore, persuaded to exercise the discretion in favour of the applicants and grant interim protection."

In view of the aforesaid reasons and in the backdrop of the nature of the accusation, at this length of time, custodial interrogation of the applicants does not seem to be warranted to facilitate further investigation. I am, therefore, impelled to make the interim order dated 25 October 2023 absolute. 6.

Hence, the following order :

ORDER

(i) The order of interim bail dated 25 October 2023 is made absolute in the terms and conditions incorporated therein. (ii) In addition, the applicants shall regularly attend the proceedings before the jurisdictional Court.

(v) The application stands disposed.
