Appeal preferred by the applicant has been admitted for final hearing wherein there is a challenge to the Decree of Divorce passed under clause (X) of Section 10 of the Divorce Act, 1869. On 16th December 2014, this Court passed an ad-interim order directing the parties to maintain status quo in respect of marital relations. Habeeb 1/2

As a substantive appeal against the Decree of Divorce has been admitted, the execution and operation of the Decree of Divorce will have to be stayed. Accordingly, we dispose of the Civil Application by passing of the following order.

ORDER

There shall be stay of the execution and operation of the impugned Decree of Divorce dated 17th November 2014 till the final disposal of the appeal.
