Learned advocate for the petitioner states that he has instructions from the petitioner who is present in Court not to press the petition. However, he prays for four weeks' time to dismantle the hoardings which were subject matter of impugned notice dated 17th April 2023.

The petitioner who is present in Court files an undertaking. The undertaking is accepted. The undertaking is marked as 'X' for identification.

In view of undertaking, it is made clear that the petitioner is permitted to dismantle the hoardings mentioned in the notice

With this clarification, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.

It is made clear that if the petitioner fails to dismantle the hoardings, the respondent No.2 shall be at liberty to take action in accordance with law in addition to filing contempt petition for breach of undertaking.
