The Petitioners claimed to be State/National awardee teachers. According to the learned Counsel for the Petitioners, the Petitioners were declared State/National awardees prior to Government Resolution ("GR") dated 7th February 2014 and orders dated 9th August 2014. Learned Counsel submits that they are entitled for the two advance/additional increments.

We have heard learned AGP and learned Counsel appearing for the Zilla Parishad.

It is only if the Petitioners are the State/National awardee teachers prior to the GR in question, then only they are entitled for the additional increments.

In the present matter, it appears that under GR dated 7th February 2014 these Petitioners were declared to be State awardee teachers. The official programme was held on 5th September 2014. The decision was prior to the GR in question.

If the names of the Petitioners appear under GR dated 7th February 2014 then they would be entitled to the benefits of two additional increments granted to the State/National awardee teachers and as held by the Division Bench of this Court at Nagpur Bench in the matter of Suresh Bhowate Vs. State and Others, in Writ Petition No. 6116 of 2014. 6.
The Respondents shall confirm the said fact of the Petitioners having been awarded National/State awardee teachers under GR dated 7th 2/4
February 2014 and then if is found that these Petitioners names find place in the GR dated 7th February 2014 (page 93), then the benefit of the additional increments be awarded to them. The said exercise shall be done expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months. 7.
