This Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeks to challenge the order of adjournment granted by Family Court vide order dated 3/10/2023. 2.

As the challenge is to an order of adjournment, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the said order. The argument of Mr. Khandelwal, who appears in person, is that the matter has been made time bound by this Court vide order of July 2023 and period of 9 months has been granted to finally dispose of the Petition. Admittedly, the period of 9 months is not yet over. Merely because adjournment has been granted by the Family Court cannot

At the same time, the Family Court may bear the fact in mind that the matter has been made time bound and it is necessary to weed out frivolous and unnecessary Applications filed only for protracting the proceedings and to nip the same in the bud and not to grant adjournments. Having said so, there is no requirement for any further observation by this Court. 3.

Writ Petition stands dismissed.
