2/3 17 wp 3671 of 2023.doc On 8th February, 2024, we recorded the statement of Mr.Patil, learned Spl.P.P. appearing for the Respondent No.1-CBI that the Petitioner could make a representation to the Respondent No.1-CBI, for withdrawal of the LOC, issued as against the Petitioner. In view of the said statement, we granted liberty to the Petitioner to make a representation before the Respondent No.1CBI, for withdrawal of the Look Out Notice (LOC). The same is recorded in our order dated 8th February 2024. Today, we are informed by Mr.Patil, learned Spl. P.P. for the Respondent No.1-CBI that the LOC issued against the Petitioner has been withdrawn by the CBI vide letter dated 3rd April, 2024 i.e. by the originator-the Superintendent of Police, CBI BSFB, Mumbai. He submits that the Superintendent of Police, CBI has forwarded the withdrawal of the LOC to the Respondent No.3-Deputy Director, Bureau of Immigration. The said letter sent by the CBI evidencing the same is taken on record. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the

3/3 17 wp 3671 of 2023.doc Petitioner has undertaken to the Respondent No.1-CBI that they will fully cooperate with the CBI and will make himself available as and when summoned by the CBI.

In view of the letter dated 3rd April, 2024, nothing survives for further consideration in the Petition seeking quashing of the LOC.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. All concerned to act on the authenticated copy of this order.
