By the present petition received through jail, the Petitioner, accused in C.R.No.405 of 2015 registered with Valiv Police Station, District Palghar, has prayed for expeditious hearing of his case, i.e., Sessions Case No. 28 of 2016 pending on the file of Additional Sessions Judge, Vasai, District Palghar.

Record indicates that, the said case is pending for disposal for more than nine years. The Petitioner is behind the bars for substantial period.

In view thereof, we direct the Additional Sessions Judge, Vasai, District Palghar, seized of the Sessions Case No. 28 of 2016, to 1/ 2

Patil-SR 4251-2022.doc conduct the said case on day-to-day basis and conclude it within a period of one year from the date of receipt of present Order. 3.

Petition is allowed in above terms.

Registrar (Judicial-II) is directed to communicate present Order to the the Petitioner, who as per petition is lodged in Thane Central Prison.

Registrar (Judicial-II) is also directed to communicate this Order to the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Vasai, District Palghar as expeditiously as possible.
