1.

Heard. Petition is filed seeking direction to transfer the investigation of FIR No.21 of 2016 registered with Dadar Police Station to any other Police Station or crime branch. Transfer of investigation is sought on the ground that FIR is registered in the month of January 2016, and no progress is made in the investigation despite order passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 1200 of 2016 [Order dated 13th July 2016]. 2.

Learned APP having taken instructions from the concerned officer states that earlier investigation was carried out by PSI now it is transferred to PI of Crime Branch and the same is being supervised by DCP-V. She also makes a statement that investigation in the subject FIR would be completed and appropriate report would be filed within four weeks from today. Statement is accepted.
