This is an appeal filed by the wife challenging the decree by which the marriage between the parties has been dissolved by consent under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act,1955. That decree has been confirmed in appeal. The parties have now reached a settlement and have executed a settlement agreement, which is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. 2.
I have heard the learned counsel for the appellant and the respondent who appears in person. The parties admit the correctness of the contents of the settlement agreement. The settlement agreement recites that the settlement is reached inter Sneha Chavan page 1 of 2
11 sa 404-20= alia on the condition of respondent paying an amount of Rs.38,00,000/- to the appellant, out of which Rs.16,50,000/- is already paid by the respondent. The learned counsel for the appellant acknowledges the receipt of the said amount by the appellant/wife.

Today the respondent has handed over a demand draft dated 12.02.2021 in favour of the appellant, for the balance amount of Rs.21,50,000/- to the learned counsel for the appellant. 4.
In such circumstances, the appeal is disposed of in view of the settlement agreement marked "X". The settlement agreement shall form part of the order.

In the circumstances, there shall be no order as to costs. 6.
A decree be drawn accordingly.
