Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

It is the case of the petitioner that he was working with respondent nos.5 and 6 for several years. It is also the case of the petitioner that the respondents by its termination letter dated 14th March, 2019 terminated the petitioner' s services. He submits that during the course of service, he kept several documents and valuable articles in the locker provided by the office. Those are as per Exh. "A" and "C" colly. at page nos. 17 and 21 respectively.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that as the respondent nos. 4 and 5 failed and neglected to return all by UDAY SHIVAJI JAGTAP Date:

7-457-21-CWP=.doc those documents, he filed the present writ petition seeking directions to respondent no.2 - Director General of Police, Mumbai to act through his subordinates viz. respondent nos. 3 and 4 to take appropriate action against respondent nos.5 and 6 and remove those articles and hand over the same to the petitioner.

When this Court declined to entertained the present petition as the petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy available in law, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to file appropriate proceedings. He has filed a praecipe to that effect, which is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. The same is accepted. 5.
The writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed.

No order as to costs.
