The complainant, wife is informed to have already initiated divorce proceedings in the Competent Court. The wife then filed complaint resulting into registration of Crime No. 220 of 2016 registered with Dongri Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 506 read with Section 34 Indian Penal Code. The complainant, wife is already blessed with an issue and it is claimed that marriage in 2011 was preceded with love affair for a period of 3 years.

Vague allegations are made about the demand of dowry by the applicants. Looking to the nature of allegations and the investigation, in my opinion, custodial interrogation is not necessary. In the event, the Bail Application is allowed. 3).

In the event of arrest of the applicants, the applicants be released on P.R. Bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

The applicants to remain present before the Investigation Officer as and when called.

The applicants shall not tamper the evidence and/or influence the witnesses in any manner whatsoever. (N.W. SAMBRE, J)
