In crime no. 306 of 2018 registered with Powai Police Station for offence punishable under Sections 363 of the Indian Penal Code r/w Section 8 & 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO) the Applicant who was arrested on 12/06/2018 is seeking regular bail.

The Applicant is already charge-sheeted as the investigation in

2 12.2846.18 ba.doc the matter is completed. There are no criminal antecedents. The offence under Section 8 & 12 of the POCSO is punishable for the period of three years. The victim has not supported the case of the Prosecution. In that view of the matter, the Application stands allowed. The Applicant be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with two sureties in the like amount. The Applicant shall not influence or tamper with the evidence. The Applicant shall not enter the jurisdiction of the Respondent Police Station till the trial is completed.

The Application stands disposed of.
