The learned counsel Mr. Venegaokar for the petitioner today produced a note in respect of progress in the Investigation Agency stating the role of the present respondent no. 1/accused. 2.

The learned counsel for respondent no. 1 submitted that as on today, respondent no. 1 has dropped his travel plan to go to Singapore to attend his wife's musical concert, as time schedule is crossed. The learned counsel submitted that therefore he is not pressing these Petitions, as it has become infructuous. The learned counsel submitted that it appears that the investigating

8.WP4797_2018.doc Agency is likely to take approximately six months to complete the investigation in this case against respondent no. 1. 3.

On query, the learned counsel Mr. Venegaokar submitted that, on instructions, he clarifies that the investigation will take maximum 6 months against this respondent no. 1/accused. 4.

In view of this, as the respondent no.1 has dropped his travel plan and not travelling abroad, no order is passed. Respondent no. 1 is at liberty to file an application to travel abroad after six months.
