The Petitioners are seeking a direction to the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (the Tribunal), Mumbai to take up the matter on priority basis.

We are not inclined to issue such direction as there could be more urgent cases before the Tribunal. Such direction without reference to any pendency could be unfair to those litigants who are patiently waiting for their applications to reach and who may have more urgent causes.

Leaving it open to the Petitioners to make necessary application to the Tribunal for early disposal of the application, we dispose of the Writ Petition. It is for the Tribunal to consider the application depending on the urgency, workload and the position of the cause list.
