By this application, the applicant seeks further time of two weeks to furnish surety and to complete the procedure. 2.

Vide order dated 29th September, 2016, the applicant was enlarged on bail on his executing PR bond in the sum of Rs. 15,000/- with one surety in the like amount. The applicant was released on provisional cash bail of Rs. 15,000/- up to 13th October, 2016, within which period, the 1/3

applicant was to furnish PR bond of the said amount with one surety. As the applicant was unable to furnish surety within the stipulated period, the applicant filed an application being Criminal Application No. 582 of 2016 seeking extension of time to furnish surety. It is stated that as verification was in progress, the process would take another two weeks. Accordingly, the application was allowed and time was extended by a further period of two weeks.

This is the second application seeking extension of further time of two weeks. It is submitted that although the surety was furnished, the Sessions Court did not execute the surety bond as the time granted by this Court had expired. It also appears that verification report is also received by the Sessions Court. However, as time has expired, the learned Sessions Court did not accept the surety.

Considering the aforesaid and the fact that there are holidays, time to furnish surety, is extended up to 6th January, 2017. It is made clear that no further extension will be granted.
