The learned Counsel for Petitioners states that during the pendency of the above Writ Petition in this Court, the Special Divisional Magistrate, Diu, has amended the order passed under Section 116 of the Cr.P.C. so as to provide for a bond in the sum of Rs.2.5 Lakhs for male members and a bond in the sum of Rs.1 Lakh for female members with surety of a respectable person in the society. In view of the said supervening event, the learned Counsel Mr. Mali URS

2 WP 4790-17.doc-8 states that the cause for filing the above Writ Petition has been served and therefore, there is no warrant now to keep the Petition pending. The Petition to accordingly stand disposed of. Rule to accordingly stand discharged.

Needless to state that the contentions of the parties have not been dealt and are kept open for being urged at the appropriate time.

All interim orders stand vacated.
