Family Court Appeal No. 82 of 2012 has been filed by the Appellant-husband challenging the order of the Family Court refusing to grant him a divorce. Family Court Appeal No. 11 of 2017 has also been filed by the Appellant-husband challenging the order of the Family Court granting enhancement of maintenance under Section 25 of the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956.

The learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent has today produced a copy of the death certificate of the Appellant-husband. The death certificate shows that the Appellant-husband has expired on 10th May, 2021. The copy of the said death certificate is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification.

Considering that the Appellant-husband has now expired, nothing would survive in both the Appeals and the same are disposed of accordingly.
