This is an application received through jail for expeditious hearing of NDPS Spl. Case No.1/2015. The grievance of the applicant is that he is not produced before the Court. Report was called from NDPS Court, Vasai.

Perusal of the report indicates that the applicant was ordered to be released on bail by order dated 10/7/2015. Since the applicant has not been able to furnish solvent surety, he is languishing in the jail. The applicant was not produced before the Court on several dates and hence charge could not be framed and explained to the applicant/accused. 3.

In view of the above, the Superintendent of Jail, Taloja as well as

rsk 2/2 APPLN-803-15.doc the Superintendent of Police, Palghar are directed to ensure that the applicant/accused is produced before the NDPS Court, Vashi as and when directed by the Special Court.

Copy of the order be served on the applicant through Superintendent of Jail, Taloja. Copy be also forwarded to the Superintendent of Jail, Taloja and the Superintendent of Police, Palghar. The application is disposed of accordingly.
