By this application, the Applicant has sought expeditious disposal of Special (MCOC) Case No.7 of 2013 pending on the file of the Special Judge (MCOC Act), Raigad-Alibag.

The records reveal that the Applicant is in custody since 4.4.2012. The report of the Special Judge, (MCOC Act), Raigad-Alibag reveals that the charge has been framed but trial has not yet commenced.

Considering the fact that the Applicant is in custody since the year 2012, it is necessary to dispose of the matter expeditiously. Hence, the Special Judge is directed to make every possible endeavour Megha 1/2

5_appln_804_2015 to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of 16 months from the date of receipt of this order. 4.

The superintendent of Taloja Central jail is directed to produce the Applicant before the Court on each and every date of hearings and to ensure that the trial is not delayed on account of non production of the Applicant.
