This is an application received from jail for expeditious hearing of the Sessions Case arising from C.R.No.190 of 2010 of Ulhasnagar Police Station. The applicant herein had given the C.R number as 190 of 2010. However, the APP has placed on record the report received from Taloja Central Prison which shows that the C.R.No. is I190 of 2009 registered at Dombivali Police Station and she further submits that the case is pending before the MCOC Special Court, Thane, Court Room No.3 and that the case is registered under MCOC pps

3 appln 805-15.doc Special Case No. 9 of 2010. The learned APP further submits that the trial has already commenced. Two witnesses are already examined and 5 witnesses are summoned. The next date of hearing is 8.2.2016. She further states that the trial will be concluded within period of six months.

In the light of the above statement as well as considering the fact that the applicant is in custody since 2010, the learned Special Judge is directed to dispose of the Case as expeditiously as possible and in any event within period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.

Legal fees quantified at Rs.1000/- to be paid to the learned advocate appointed, within period of one month. 4.

Copy of this order be served to the applicant through Superintendent of Jail, Taloja Central Prison. (ANUJA PRABHUDESSAI, J.) pps
