The First Information Report (for short 'FIR') was registered by Respondent No.2 with Kandivali (West) Police Station, Mumbai on 14.03.2023 for offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 406, 504 & 506 of Indian Penal Code (for short "IPC") and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

The marriage between Applicant and Respondent No.2 was solemnized on 10th March 2019. The marriage is already dissolved by Khulanama. The parties have resolved the dispute amicably. Digitally signed by SAJAKALI LIYAKAT JAMADAR Date:

The Complainant/Respondent No.2 is present in the Court. She has no objection for quashing the FIR. She has filed affidavit of consent for quashing the FIR.

The dispute was on account of matrimonial differences between the parties. There is amicable settlement. The complainant has consented for quashing the FIR. 5.

Considering the fact that the parties have resolved the dispute and executed documents of consent, the impugned FIR can be quashed.

ORDER

i.

Criminal Application No.1366 of 2023 is allowed and disposed off;

ii.

The FIR dated 14.03.2023 registered with Kandivali (West) Police Station, Mumbai vide C.R. No.168 of 2023 is quashed and set aside.
