Petitioner is convicted by NDPS Court. He was sentenced on 23/01/2001 to RI for 12 years, fine of Rs. 2 lacs and in default of fine, imprisonment of one year more. The petitioner has prayed to waive the fine amount of Rs.2 lacs . This request has been made in the letter received by this court on 21/11/2016. On that date, he had already put in more than 13 years of imprisonment. 2.

It appears that in 2016, the prisoner was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment in another case and that sentence has been imposed by Delhi Court.

In this situation, we find that the grievance made before nilegaonkar 1/2
