Mr.Yuvraj Patil, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for Respondent No.1-State of Maharashtra objects to the impleadment of Respondent No.1, as a Respondent in these Petitions. He points out that the State of Maharashtra is neither a necessary or a proper party to these proceedings and therefore, both the Petitions should either be dismissed as against the Respondent No.1-State or in any case the Respondent No.1 shall be deleted from the array of

Learned counsel for the Petitioner was unable to satisfy the purpose for which the presence of the Respondent No.1-State is necessary in the present proceedings. In any case it does appear that State of Maharashtra is neither necessary nor a proper party to these proceedings. Accordingly, State of Maharashtra is ordered to be deleted from the array of parties to these Petitions. Necessary amendment to be carried out forthwith.
