The applicant was granted bail vide order dated 08/03/2022 in Interim Application No.363 of 2022 in Criminal Appeal No.213 of 2022. He was directed to be released on bail on executing P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. He was permitted to furnish cash bail in the sum of Rs.20,000/- for a period of 8 weeks in lieu of sureties. In spite of that, the applicant could not avail of the same because of his financial constraints. Therefore, by separate order Digitally signed by VINOD BHASKAR GOKHALE Date:

passed by this Court in I.A. No.1975 of 2022 dated 25/08/2022, concession was given to him and he was directed to furnish cash bail of Rs.10000/- within 8 weeks in lieu of sureties. Except this modification, rest of the conditions mentioned in the operative part of the order dated 08/03/2022 were directed to be remained as they are. Now a letter is received from the Jail sent by the applicant wherein he has mentioned that he had received the order dated 25/08/2022 only on 19/09/2022. Thereafter, he tried to arrange for Rs.10000/-. Thereafter, because of Diwali vacation the papers were not processed expeditiously and, hence, he did not have sufficient time.

Considering the genuine difficulty expressed by the applicant in his application sent through Jail, the period of 8 weeks mentioned in the order dated 25/08/2022 is extended by further period of 8 weeks from today. He shall comply with the directions mentioned in the order dated 25/08/2022, as well as, in the order dated 08/03/2022.

This order shall be communicated to the appellant, at
the earliest.

With these observations, the I.A.No.3978 of 2022 is disposed of.
