Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

Learned counsel prays for direction to the learned trial Magistrate to record evidence of the petitioner (original complainant) under section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act after a period of one month as the petitioner is required to undergo treatment for malignancy she is suffering from. In my opinion, the learned Magistrate shall consider this

At the same time, petitioner is also at liberty to apply for interim relief in the nature of directions to respondent no. 2 for paying the amount of medical expenses already incurred and to be incurred by the petitioner.
