Learned APP on instructions from Mr. Dabhade, API, Wakad Police Station, Pune submitted that, in furtherance of Order dated 09.01.2018 passed in Writ Petition No. 5086 of 2014, the Threat Perception Committee of Pune Commissionerate has decided the application of Petitioner for providing him police protection. That, in its meeting dated 13.03.2018, it was decided not to provide police protection to the Petitioner. A photocopy of communication dated 15th/16th March 2018 addressed to the Petitioner is placed on record.

In view thereof, the grievance of the Petitioner that, Order dated 09.01.2018 passed by this Court is not complied with, does not survive.

As far as prayer of the Petitioner, to initiate inquiry against the Officers named therein by Respondent No.1 is concerned, the Petitioner is having alternate remedy before the State Police Complaints Authority as provided under the Maharashtra Police Act. 3.

By reserving the said remedy, Petition is disposed off. 4.
