By this petition, which is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the Petitioners have challenged the allotment of tender for excavation of sand in the river bed of river Krushna. The learned AGP submits that the period of tender would be over by 30th September, 2016. In our view, since the tender period is substantially over, the petition has practically become infructuous. Writ petition is, therefore, disposed of as such.
