By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the respondent no.3 or the Village Development Officer of respondent no.4 to grant a deemed No Objection Certificate to the petitioner as per his application dated 30.12.2015. Mr.Warunjikar, the learned counsel for the respondent nos.2 and 3 states that during the pendency of the writ petition, the Village Development Department of the State Government has issued a Circular dated 12.10.2017 laying down certain guide-lines for processing the applications for grant of No Objection Certificate. It is stated that the petitioner has again applied in pursuance of the
RNG 2/2 905-1936.17 Circular dated 12.10.2017 and the application of the petitioner would be decided in accordance with law within two months. It is stated that the cause for filing the writ petition is rendered infructuous due to the subsequent development. By accepting the statement made on behalf of respondent nos.2 and 3 that the respondent no.3 would process the application of the petitioner dated 13.10.2017 in accordance with law within two months, which would be binding on the respondent no.3, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs.
