For the reasons separately recorded, the Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.

Considering the age of the Respondent, who may be presumably 60 years of age, the relief of reinstatement is not possible at this stage. At the most the Respondent would be entitled for an amount of fair compensation towards his back wages, which would be Rs.2,00,000/-.
