Learned counsel for the Petitioner has tendered a communication dated 9.1.2018 issued by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Pandharpur, by which the petitioner is called upon to attend hearing of an inquiry, which was scheduled on 20.1.2018. The said communication is taken on record. On instructions, learned counsel submits that the Petitioner attended the said inquiry, but expressed an apprehension that the matter may get further delayed and therefore, the very object of the present petition will be frustrated.

After hearing the learned counsel for the Petitioner, we are of the considered view to direct the Respondents to expedite and conclude the said inquiry, preferably within a period of three months and the outcome of said inquiry be intimated to the Petitioner immediately thereafter. With this observation and direction, writ petition stands disposed of.
