By a reasoned order dated 22.11.2017 the applicants were granted interim relief and were directed to attend the Investigating Officer on stipulated dates. The learned APP submitted that the applicants have attended the Investigating Officer on stipulated dates.

Perused the record of investigation.

The offence alleged against the applicant is predominantly under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code. It clearly appears from the record that the alleged offence has taken place during a scuffle. In view thereof, the custodial interrogation of the applicants is not necessary for further investigation of the present crime.

The interim relief granted on 22.11.2017 is hereby confirmed. However, the condition to attend the Investigation Officer is waived.
