Petitioner raises objection in forming Ward by realigning boundaries of Taluka Velhe, District - Pune. Petitioner's object specifically in respect of Vasti called "Bhatti Waghadara, which is said to be a part of Group Gram Panchayat. The population is around more than 300. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that geographical boundaries ought to have been followed. Guidelines prescribed by the Election Commission ought to have been adhered to while the boundaries were demarcated and the Wards were formed.

On behalf of the State, reply has been filed through Mr. Pradip Dattatray Ubale, Tahsildar, Velhe, District - Pune. The maps of the location are annexed. The respondents have explained the circumstances in which the formation of Gan (Electoral college) in Velhe Taluka was formed. 3.
We have perused the material placed before us. We find that the authorities concerned have followed the procedure established. It was informed that the last preceding census figure published in the year 2011 are the basis for the present election and according to the same certain changes have been brought into while wards were formed. 4.
In the facts, no interference is warranted. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
