Despite the pendency of this PIL from December, 2013, no substantial progress can be made simply because the PIL petitioner has lost interest. Equally, the advocate for the petitioner earlier appointed had sought discharge. After the discharge of the earlier advocate, a new advocate is yet to be appointed.
