The applicant was granted bail by this Court vide order dated 18th September 2018 passed in Bail Application No.527 of 2018. The applicant was directed to be released on bail on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. The order also contained other conditions. It is submitted that the applicant had furnished sureties before the Trial Court. So far the Court had accepted one surety in the sum of Rs.12,500/- and the other sureties were rejected. It is submitted that the applicant is not in a position to arrange surety for the balance amount of Rs.12,500/-. The applicant therefore prays that the order dated 18th September 2018 be modified by permitting the applicant to be released on cash security of Rs.12,500/- along with surety in the sum of Rs.12,500/- which is already furnished by him.

It is not possible to accept the request. The applicant was directed to be released on bail on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. However, it is noted that the applicant has continued to be in custody although bail was granted on 18th September 2018. In the circumstances the applicant is permitted to furnish cash security in the sum of Rs.25,000/- for a period of six weeks. In the mean time, the applicant shall furnish surety for the balance amount of Rs.12,500/- in accordance with order dated 18th September 2018.
