I have gone through the evidence of the victim, a copy of which is annexed to the Appeal memo.

In the circumstances, I am not inclined to suspend the sentence imposed upon the applicant, for the present. However, liberty should be granted to the applicant to apply afresh for suspension of sentence in the event of the Appeal not being taken up for final hearing, expeditiously.
