The only relief sought by way of the above Petition is that the Respondent No.2 i.e. Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee (for short STCS Committee) be directed to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner within a particular time frame. The said relief is sought on the ground that the Petitioner has been selected for the post of Town Planner in the State Government in the post meant for the Scheduled Tribe. The tribe claim of the Petitioner is pending before the STCS Committee since June 2017. It is the case of the Petitioner that her near relatives from the paternal side i.e. brother, sister and uncle have already been issued the caste validity certificates. In the facts and circumstances as above, we deem it appropriate to direct the STCS Committee to hear and decide the Petitioner's tribe claim latest by 31-1-2019 by giving proper opportunity to the Petitioner. wp-12687-18(907).doc Petitioner to appear before the STCS Committee on 14-11-2018 and the STCS Committee thereafter to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner within the outer limit fixed by the instant order.

With the directions as aforesaid the Writ Petition is disposed of. All parties to act upon an ordinary copy of this order duly authenticated by the Court Shirestedar.
