1] The only grievance made in this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is that a revision application preferred by the petitioner before the State Government on 29th March 2017 is not being decided. It is pointed out that three letters were addressed to the revisional authority to take up the revision application for hearing and even applications in writing were made. Exhibit-E is one such application. 2] The learned AGP has no instructions about the present status of the revision application being Revision Application No. 2762 of 2017. 3] Hence, we need not to keep the petition pending and the same is disposed of by passing the following order:- (a) We direct the petitioner or his authorised representative to remain present in the office of the revisional authority on 19th October 2018 at 3.00 p.m. If the revision application is already decided, a copy of the order passed on the revision application be

DSS 2 43-cwp-947-18.doc provided to the petitioner or his representative, as the case may be; (b) If the revision application is still pending, the same shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible and in any event within three months from the date fixed for appearance of the petitioner; (c) All contentions on merits are kept open;
