22ND NOVEMBER 2017 PC:- By this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the draft development plan of Uran Municipal Council, Uran. Shri Shetye, the learned counsel for the respondent no.1 states on instructions that the final development plan for Uran Municipal Council is issued by the State Government under Section 31 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act on 9th March 2017. It is stated that since the petitioner had challenged only the draft development plan and since the notification pertaining to final development plan is issued by the State Government the cause for filing the writ petition would not survive.
