The applicant is seeking regular bail in Crime No. 177 of 2016 registered with J.J. Marg Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 467, 468, 471, 420 Indian Penal Code and Sections 10, 11 and 12 of the Maharashtra Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribes, Denotified Tribes (Vimukti Jati) Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward Category (Regulation of issuance and verification of caste) Certificates Act, 2000.

The applicant appears to be a student with no criminal antecedents. The admission of the applicant has already been cancelled.

The applicant appeared before the Investigation Officer and his statement is recorded.

Looking to the nature of the allegations against the applicant and having regard to the fact that the applicant is available for investigation and for the purpose of prosecution, the custodial interrogation is reported to be not required. 6).

Hence, the following order.

(i) The Bail Application is allowed. In Crime No. 177 of 2016 registered with J.J. Marg Police Station, the applicant be released on furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees. Ten Thousand only) with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount. (ii) The applicant to attend police station as and when called.
