The challenge in the petition is to the FIR No. 284 of 2017 for offence punishable under Sections 498A, 406, 323, 504 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned APP on instructions informs that the petitioners are already charge-sheeted. The fact remains that the charge-sheet is not questioned by the petitioners by amending the petition. 4.

In view thereof, the petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.

However, this will not preclude the petitioners from moving before the Court below with appropriate prayers, which will be considered in accordance with law.
