These petitions would not require any adjudication as Mr. Motkari learned counsel for the respondent on instructions submits that his client-respondent intends to withdraw the applications in question filed before the Competent Authority under section 24(2) of the Maharashtra Rent Control Act, 1999, on which the impugned orders have seen passed, with liberty to file appropriate proceedings. The applications are accordingly allowed to be withdrawn. 2.

In view of the said applications being withdrawn on behalf of the respondent, the impugned orders would not survive and are set 1/2

21-22-13291-17 aside. The petitions are accordingly disposed of, however, with liberty to the respondent to adopt appropriate proceedings as permissible by law.
