The grievance of the petitioner is that his caste validation claim is pending before respondent no.2 Committee since 2012. He submits that in the absence of caste validation certificate, respondent no. 4 is likely to cancel the admission of the petitioner in their college. The petitioner submits that while getting the admission for the first year structural Engineering, the petitioner had submitted an undertaking to respondent no. 4 college that he will produce caste validation certificate on or before 30.11.2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that inspite

21-wp-13614.2016.sxw of various requests being made, the Committee has not decided the matter as yet and as a result, the petitioner's admission may be cancelled.

Keeping in view the aforesaid, we dispose of this petition by directing the respondent Committee to decide petitioner's caste validation claim as expeditiously as possible but not latter than three months from the appearance of the petitioner before the Committee. Petitioner to appear before the caste validation committee on 15.12.2016 at 11.00 a.m. Till the petitioner's caste validation claim is decided by the Committee, 4th respondent college shall not cancel the petitioner's admission. However, undertaking given by the petitioner in respect of other conditions shall remain operative. Needless to say that the petitioner shall cooperate in the hearing before the Committee and shall not seek any unnecessary adjournments.
